Why Shield Our Children Online Alliance?

Graham became aware of the impact of children’s access to pornography when he learnt that one of his family members was peer pressured into sexual acts in the school toilets when they were only 8 years old.

Since this discovery Graham has learnt of other harrowing childhood experiences that have led him to want to give of his time and money to prevent the long-lasting and preventable damage of children viewing porn through robust Age Verification for adult sites.

Graham Hellier MBE

Graham was awarded an MBE by Prince Charles (now King Charles) for funding and assisting in the management of the building of a village for families that had lost their homes to mudslides as a result of earthquakes in 2001.

Graham moved to El Salvador for 3 months at the start of the project and persuaded the El Salvadorian government to purchase a former coffee plantation to provide the land for the village.

Graham’s donation built a village of 500 houses, a church and a school.

Graham named the village “Little England” (Pequeña Inglaterra) which is now home to around 2,000 people. Graham and his family still support the Little England school which educates nearly 500 children.
